We’re Obligated to Give God Thanks!

We’re Obligated to Give God Thanks!

Ministering: Prophetess Elizabeth Abiodun (Gen. Overseer – Christ In You Ministry – Lagos, Nigeria)

Text: Gen. 2:7.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.” KJV.

Regardless of our situation, We are indebted to give God thanks continually. Right from our creation, He made us in His Image so we can have dominion over things bigger than us. Having formed us from the dust of the ground, He gave us the breath of Life – is this not worth our Praise? We owe God Praise because He did not allow our minds to be reprobate – we are not bowing to idols as our God.

It is pride to withhold your mouth from Praising God. We owe God praise for giving us power and authority over unclean spirits and demons (Luke 9:1). As You Praise Him, He takes over your battles and disgraces all your adversaries. Everything else will pass away except Praise. Rev. 19:5 -6 says, “Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you, His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great! And I heard as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For The Lord God Omnipotent reigns!”

As we develop a lifestyle of continual Praise to God, He gives us authority over our adversaries. David obtained authority to overcome his enemies through unceasing Praise to God, especially while He was in the wilderness. 1 Samuel 16:11-16. The Earth and everything we are passing through is to be a dress rehearsal of the lifestyle of Praises we will be giving to God in Heaven. Our pre-occupation in Heaven will be Praises like the Angels, we should be practicing this on Earth now before we cross over to Heaven. Isaiah 52:11 – Depart! Depart! Go out from there, Touch no unclean thing; Go out from the midst of her, Be clean, You who bear the vessels of the Lord.

In closing, “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will, they exist and were created.” Rev. 4:11.

God Bless You!
