Faithful God.

Faithful God.

Ministering: Senior Pastor Shola Awobajo

Text: Lam. 3:20-25.

20 My soul hath them still in remembrance and is humbled in me. 21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. 22 It is of the Lord‘s mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. 25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.KJV.

We welcome everyone to our 22nd Anniversary, of a truth God has been Faithful to in the past 22 Years of the RCCG Isaac Generation. God has been our Pillar and Rock. Zeph. 3:17 says “The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Though we know we are not there yet, we lay it to heart to thank The Lord for where We are and where He has brought us from.

Nobody can comprehend God’s Faithfulness, because even in our shortfalls, He remains Faithful to His Word. Despite our imperfections He never for once left nor forsook us, hence, His Faithfulness is termed incomprehensible and beyond human reasoning. The work of the Ministry is a work of Trust; it is God entrusting His People into our Hands to nurture and build up after the Image of Christ.

Regardless of how you may have disappointed God because He is Faithful, He still believes and trusts in You,   He still has lots of things to do through You, do not count yourself out. Faithful is He Who started the good work in you and Faithful is He Who will complete it.

Faithfulness is to be immovable and steadfast in allegiance to a course. It is also firm adherence to a Promise. It is also strict in the performance of one’s duties and obligations. God has indeed been Faithful over IGA – in the midst of all the challenges and fire, He has never left us but rather keeps bringing us through all seasons, hence we are indebted to celebrating His Goodness. We would have thrown in the towel in the past 22 years but for God’s Faithfulness.

The storms and rain (Matt. 7:25) have come against IGA in the past 22 years, but Lord has been the Rock sustaining and upholding His Church.

Why Must We Remain Hopeful

  • Because God is Faithful over His Promises – Rom. 3:4
  • Because the character of God being Faithful has never changed – 2 Tim. 2:13
  • Because He has the final say in everything concerning your Life
  • If He could keep & build His Church, He has no problem keeping & building You as well.

In closing, regardless of what you are going through, never give up your Hope in God.

God Bless You!
