Text: Isaiah 40:28-31.
“28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.” KJV.
Traveling by air is the fastest means of transportation, and in our above Text, God promised that those who wait on Him will mount up with wings as Eagles. Regardless of your present condition, never give up on God, waiting on Him is not wasting time but restoring time. Realize that God can accomplish in one minute what would naturally take 10 years to accomplish.
In 1 Samuel 13:8-16, Saul missed it because of a seemingly little delay by Prophet Samuel. God is never late, never try to fix what only God can fix. We all need to Pray for God to show us Mercy in times we had gone ahead of Him.
No matter what is happening, waiting on God is a time of being processed for maturity. Waiting on God builds our spiritual stamina and God will always reward those who wait on Him. Many times we want things fast and quick but may not be mature yet to handle what we are praying for. Imagine a baby being born prematurely way before the due date?
God is The Mountain Remover, He knows the source of every mountain and valley. We have no might to shift let alone move any mountain. It is your turn to fly over that mountain. God is God over all situations and circumstances.
Conditions to Meet Before You Can Fly
- Persistence in the place of Prayer & Fasting – Ps. 30:5, Luke 18:1-8
- Dogged Faith that surmounts every obstacle – Blind Bartimaeus Mark 10:46-52
- Believe and hold on to His Word – Luke 1:45, Luke 5:4
- Be Expectant – He never fails – Prov. 23:18
- Don’t ask freckle things from Him but something massive to the Glory of His Name. Bartimaeus know what He wanted from Him – Mark 10:51
- Know that this is Your Time and make sure He never passes you by.
- Worship & Praise Him continually.
God has more than enough to cater to the needs of all His Creatures. Psalm 2:8 – Ask of Me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Your place by Redemption in Christ Jesus is in the front.
God Bless You!
