“1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high-sounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.“ KJV
This is a Thanksgiving service to celebrate and appreciate God for His faithfulness in the last 23 years over Isaac Generation. 23 years is about 1,156 Sundays that God has been manifesting Himself in every Service. He is worthy to be praised, adored and exalted. The above Psalm is an exaltation for everything that has breathe to praise the Lord. There is no single regret of all the Lord has done with, in and for us as a church. His cloud of Glory has been moving in and around us for the past 23 years. His Spirit has been our guide every step of this 23 years. He has been the Author and Omega of everything we are. He is our beginning and will be our ending. Faith is not knowing what the future holds but knowing who owns the future. God is our Pillar; He owns our future for He knows our tomorrow from yesterday.
Ps. 34:3-4 – O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His Name together.
Reasons for our Praises
- God has seen us through several experiences. Various seasons of trials and triumphs.
- God has kept us focused on His Mission and Purpose
- God has been fueling our tank as a Church
- Where we lacked hope, God has been giving Us Hope
- He has caused the Heavens to remain open over us.
Brief History of The Church
RCCG Isaac Generation started on 15th of October 2000. Isaac Generation started with 22 in attendance at Marriott Hotel (then Adam’s Mark Hotel) – 2900 Briarpark Dr. Houston on October 15, 2000. We spent 6 months in the Hotel before moving to 9525 Town Park Dr. Houston, TX 77036. We were 12 adults when we moved into Town Park Drive, we were there for about 6 and a half years before moving to our permanent location now – 10330 Sugar Branch Dr. Houston, TX 77036. Over 15 Parishes as come forth from Isaac Generation and over 350 Children have been born since inception. God has worked great testimonies and diverse signs and wonders in our midst.
October 2007, General Overseer, (Pastor E.A. Adeboye) came to dedicate this church though it was still under construction. RCCG Isaac Generation is our own bethel, a divine ladder where Heaven connects with earth. God has always caused His Heaven to be opening up unto us. God has ever been faithful, waiting for us to meet with us at every service time.
In closing, Zeph. 3:17 – The Lord, thy God in the midst of thee is Mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.
