Failure is Written in Pencil.

Failure is Written in Pencil.

Interactive Question 1: What would you do if your child keeps presenting the same type of school assignment to you that he/she cannot do and appears uninterested in learning it? Would you do it every time for him/her? Or allow him/her fail so as to learn the lesson?

Interactive Question 2: If You allow your child to keep going to school without attending to the assignment (especially if yourself cannot solve the problem), can it be said that you love that Child?

Interactive Question 3: Youths, do you believe your parents love you even when they appear mean to you?

In conclusion, corrections and disciplines are necessary but the way and manner it is administered is important. We should correct in love, use the right words and avoid negative emotions. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Negative words can damage a child’s future. Mistakes and failures make us better when the lesson is learnt and necessary adjustments are made. Tough love from our parents might appear cruel but in the long-run it makes us a better person.

Prov. 4:20 – My Son, pay attention to My Words; incline your ear to My Sayings.

God bless you!
