IGA Children’s Week

The Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ delivering us from shame and clothing us with His glory. Life often presents challenges that can leave us feeling sad or scared. However, as Pastor E. Adeboye reminds us (during RCCGNA 2024 Convention), “After every tough time, there’s something good waiting for us ahead.” This encourages us to face difficulties with hope, knowing that brighter days are ahead because of Jesus’ love for us.

“Glory Ahead” this topic shines like a beacon in the darkness, reminding us that God’s love and kindness are always present, helping us to find strength and courage. As God’s Children, we should place our trust in Jesus and His plans for us. 1Peter 5:10 says “And the God of all Grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast” – this Scripture tells Us that God is in us (as Grace) to help us overcome any obstacle.

Consider how God has a unique plan for each of us (as promised in Jeremiah 29:11). It’s important to note that before any glory, there are trials of faith that come to test our spiritual maturity. God desires for us to accomplish great things and to spread His love, making the world a better place. Therefore, instead of succumbing to worry or fear, let’s believe in God’s unfailing love and be strong in Him and the power of His Might.

When faced with challenges, let’s remember the wisdom of Romans 5:3-5: hardships can strengthen us and impart valuable lessons. They nurture our faith and hope, reassuring us that God is always by our side, guiding us through every step.

Lastly, let’s support one another as a united family in Christ. Let’s extend a helping hand to friends in need, pray for each other earnestly, and rejoice together in times of blessings. Together, we can make a positive impact and demonstrate God’s love to everyone around us.

In conclusion, let’s fix our gaze upon Jesus, who lights our path and nurtures our faith. Let’s always trust Him, confident that His love will lead us to a future overflowing with joy and blessings. May God’s love and strength accompany us as we journey toward the wonderful things He has prepared for us in the glory ahead. Which certainly helps us know the future is brighter ahead.
