The Works of Your Hand magnify You,
The angels in Heaven sing Thy Name,
And all the saints together, sing,
Blessed Be Thy Name, Blessed Be Thy Name.
As the Handiwork of God, God wants us to praise Him day and night. Regardless of what you are going through as
a believer in Christ, be assured all will be well as you express true gratitude to God. True Gratitude is praising God
for all He has done and in faith, knowing that all will be well.
The Psalmist (Ps 69:1-3) appears to be going through a very turbulent period. He had questions for God, but yet he
expressed his true gratitude to God. Whatever may happen, we should be resolute to give and express True
Gratitude to God. Many times we forget to give thanks to God because we were not deliberate to carefully give
thanks to Him. Jesus said sufficient is the evil of every day, but thanks be to God Who always comes to our
deliverance.
Psalm 66:10-12 says “For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. Thou broughtest us into
the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.
Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.”
Psalm 92:5 says “O Lord, how great are thy works! And thy thoughts are very deep.” The thoughts of God is so deep over our lives, that’s why we are not consumed by the enemy. The Israelites were complaining and
murmuring against God and they were destroyed by the destroyer. In life, you are either giving thanks to God or
indirectly complaining to Him. God has been Faithful over our lives, hence He deserves our True Praise and
Gratitude. Be grateful for what The Lord has done. Psalm 34:2 says “My soul shall make her boast in the Lord:
the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.”
In closing, Habakkuk 3:17-19 says “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the
labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there
shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is
my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me walk upon mine high places. To the
chief singer on my stringed instruments. When we praise Him for what He has done and what He is yet to do, He
will grant us Divine Speed to get to our High Places.”
Psalm 149 also says “Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and
harp. For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. Let the saints be joyful
in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword
in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with
Chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his
Saints. Praise ye the Lord.”
