Text: Isaiah 43;7, 21.
” 7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. 21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.” KJV.
Jer. 1:5 – Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
We were created to show forth God’s Glory on Earth. When purpose is not known abuse is inevitable. We need to understand God’s Purpose for creating Us. Everything under Heaven was created for a Divine a Purpose – animals, Humans, Angels, etc. The Scripture contains God’s Plans, Heart-desire and Purpose for our lives. His Plans always center on His Glory been shown in an area of life through a vessel. He wants to be glorified in every facet of existence, thus, needs willing vessels.
His Glory (not your glory) is the focal point of all God’s doings. God does not want to share His Glory with anyone. Rom. 12:4 – For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function. Our God given assignment or Purpose are different, thus, it is unwise to compare ourselves with anyone. What God wants to accomplish through your life is different from another person. Eph. 2:10 says For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Is my Life showing forth His Glory? This is a daily question for you and I. Is my life living up to God’s expectation or other’s expectations? Gal. 4:1 – Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all. What makes us different from unbelievers is that we are on Earth on a divine assignment or purpose from our King. No one can answer this question for you, only you can answer if your life is bringing forth His Glory. God alone as the Masterplan for each of us, He calls us to draw near to Him, to call upon Him and He will show us His Plans. Without knowledge of His Plans, we will be moving in circles and making no progress.
We all have a scorecard before God – an assessment of how much our lives has been showing forth our King’s Glory. Job’s scorecard was revealed in Job 1:8 – And The Lord said unto Satan, hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feared God, and eschewed evil?
God testified of Job that; (1) there was none like him, (2) he was perfect, (3) he was upright, (4) he fears God and (5) he abstained from every form of evil (1 Thess. 5:22). Can such be written in your scorecard?
What is that Glory that My Life need to produce? God wants to be glorified in every aspect of our lives – our health, family, finances, relationships with others, career, neighborhood, etc. There is a Divine Mandate for every Believer in Christ. Col. 3:23 – And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. Luke 10:20 – Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
What are the joy of fulfilling God’s Agenda? Is there any reward for God’s Glory been manifested through your life? Firstly, there is a hedge about you. Secondly, there is a hedge around your house (Family). Thirdly, there is a hedge around every aspect of Your life. Fourthly, God blesses the work of Your Hands. Fifthly, Your substance will be greatly increased. Job 1:10 – Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
In closing, God has an Agenda for Your life, He has a Book written concerning every detail about your purpose. We all have The Same Author but the contents of our Books are different. Ps. 40:7 – Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me. Jeremiah 18:6 – O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
God Bless You!
