Faith for A Shift & Lift to A New Level

Faith for A Shift & Lift to A New Level

Ministering: Pastor Nat Opaluwa (RCCG – China)

Text: Luke 22:31-32 – “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.”

Our above Text shows how the enemy had resolved to sift Peter but The Lord being aware ahead of time had prayed for him. What a joy that we have a Great High Priest that prays continually for us.

The greatest loss a person can suffer in life is not the loss of money, job, health but the loss of their faith.

If your faith fails everything else fails. Faith failure is destiny failure. If faith is not lost, nothing is lost. No matter what you may have lost, if you faith is still standing in God, nothing in actuality is lost.

  • The Lord did not pray for the business and marriage of Peter not to fail but for his faith not to fail. This is because everything anchors on our faith. Michael 7:8.
  • Job is another classical example, he lost virtually everything except his faith in God. Job 14:7.
  • The devil’s target is really not your marriage, business, but your faith. Job 14:15.
  • Anytime you fail it is actually a faith failure. Job 19:25. Despite any challenge never let your faith fail.
  • From Romans 4:19, Abraham was not weak in faith. Let your faith stand because The Lord Jesus Christ our Great High Priest is praying without ceasing for us.

How Do I Connect to a Faith That Does Note Fail?
1. Know Him more. The more you know God the more your level changes. Phil. 3:10. In His Light, you will see light. Even if you can’t trace God, continue to trust Him. The bankruptcy of The Knowledge of God is the undoing of the fail of many Christians. When you go for God, Gold will come. Aspire to know Him more and you will never expire.
2. Know who you are in God. Your level in God is not the same level with any devil. Your level changed in Christ. Psalm 82:6, Ephesians 2:6
3. Grow up in Him. There is no end to this growing in Christ. Your prayer life, The Word, and His Kingdom must keep growing. Heb. 5:12, 2 Timothy 2:13.

In closing, you can change level because someone is praying for your faith not to fail. You are no longer a slave to fear, because you are a Child of God. You are destined to be great but you must study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth – 2 Timothy 2:15.
