I AM THE LORD!

Ministering: Pastor Wole Olubajo.

Text: Exodus 34:1-14.

1 And the Lord said to Moses, “Cut two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke. So be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself to Me there on the top of the mountain. And no man shall come up with you, and let no man be seen throughout all the mountain; let neither flocks nor herds feed before that mountain.” So he cut two tablets of stone like the first ones. Then Moses rose early in the morning and went up Mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him; and he took in his hand the two tablets of stone. Now the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LordAnd the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.” So Moses made haste and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped. Then he said, “If now I have found grace in Your sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray, go among us, even though we are a stiff-necked[a] people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us as Your inheritance.” 10 And He said: “Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do [b]marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you. 11 Observe what I command you this day. Behold, I am driving out from before you the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite. 12 Take heed to yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it be a snare in your midst. 13 But you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images 14 (for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God),NKJV

Lord connotes ownership! Jesus is the Lord Who rules over all. He is the Sole Sovereign Lord (Jude 1:4). He is Lord over the living and the dead. He is not just the Lord of His Church but also Lord over all Nations. The Government is upon His Shoulders and His Kingdom shall be forever and ever. He is Lord over all sicknesses and diseases. He is Lord over Times, Seasons and Events. Nothing happens except He permits it.

He supports the World, and all Creatures in it, by His power. You are not the Lord (owner) over your Life, stop trying to fix it, handle it over to Him! The Lord is rich to all Who call upon Him – Romans 10:12. No one else can better manage the affairs of our lives than He Who made it! He loves us immutably with an everlasting love. He Who died to redeem us, now rules the universe that we may reign as Kings in it.

He rules from Sea to Sea, even to the uttermost bounds of His Creation. Nothing is beyond His control. All the Nations are as nothing before Him. Isaiah 40:17. He is the Fountain of all power. He is the Pillar that holds the Heavens and the Earth. 1 Sam. 2:6-8. He is Lord over our destiny and He seeks for us to know Him as the Lord (Heb. 8:10-11). Every situation we go through are meant to be a Seed which if We turn to an opportunity to offer a Sacrifice of Praise to Him, will turn to a massive Testimony.

In closing, God has put all things under Christ’s feet and gave Him to the Church as Supreme Lord over all things! Eph. 1:22-23. He is Head of all things for the special advantage & dominion of His Church.

God Bless You!
