IT IS NOT OVER!

IT IS NOT OVER!

November 2025 | The God of The Eleventh Hour

Ministering: Pastor Tunji Akinrinde.

Text: Luke 5:1-9.

1So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret, and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets. Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken.NKJV

Our above text is an account of how the Lord showed up and turned Peter’s fruitless all-night efforts into a great testimony. The year 2025 is not yet over as some may think, God can still do miraculous things in the remaining days. Just as Peter had to first allow the Master into his boat before the miraculous catch, likewise, we have to allow the Lord into our boat (our heart) to experience the 11th hour miracle.

God is not bound or limited by time as He dwells in a realm infinitely above it.

As you allow Jesus into your boat, you will hear instructions. The first instruction was for Peter to push the boat further – this means, we have to separate ourselves unto God and from limiting mindsets or ungodly relationships. We need to separate ourselves unto prayers. Its time to seek the Lord like Jacob did in Genesis 32:26. After Peter moved his boat, Jesus taught them; so expect to be taught by the Lord.

After teaching them, He instructed that Peter cast his net to the other side. His instructions might be contrary to the industry trend, but God’s ways are always higher than our ways. Experienced fishermen rarely fish during the day, but because Jesus gave the instruction and Peter obeyed, they experienced an unusual catch at an unusual fishing time. His boat could not contain the great catch that they had to beckon on others to partake in the miraculous catch.

Lessons from Luke 5:1-9:

  • God has chosen to use your life as a testimony of His power.
  • Don’t worry about how it will happen, God is beyond every human process. – 1 Sam. 30:8
  • Blessings are contagious. The other fishermen benefited from Peter’s miracle.

In closing, Revelation 3:20 says “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My Voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.”

God Bless You!
