Text: John 11:25.
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
God’s Word for us this morning is that whatever virtue seems dead in our lives will breathe again. He is The Resurrection and The Life. Though Eccle. says there is no hope for the dead, but our Risen Lord is The One that has Power over the living and the dead. Our above Text is about the death of Lazarus and how The Lord showed Himself as The Resurrection and Life that brings to life to the dead. You may have lost all hope over a situation, but The Lord says, He is never late, He has the keys of hell and of death in His Hands. Though Lazarus had been buried for 4 days, yet The Lord brought him back to life.
He is The Alpha and Omega Who needs permission from no one to resuscitate the dead. He is Master over death and any distasteful situation. He is Mightier and Bigger than any obstacle we could ever face in life. He told Moses to tell Pharaoh that “I am” has sent you.
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. Col. 1:16. For by Him all things consist.
The dead hear and obey His Voice for His Voice quickens the dead. Joblessness, sickness, curses, troubled marriage, etc all hear and bow to His Voice. May He send His Word to you over any obstacle you are faced with. He can bring success out of failure, riches out of poverty, hope out of hopelessness, health out of sicknesses, etc.
HE CAN RESTORE:
1. Wasted Years – Joel 2:25-27. Joseph, Job, Woman with the issue of blood were all beautifully restored.
2. Your lost Authority and Power – Luke 15:17-18
3. Your lost Joy – Ps. 30:5, Gen. 21:6-7
4. Your lost and buried Glory – Lazarus in John 11
5. Your Hope – Rom. 4:18.
Our God is a Hope, Destiny, and Glory Restorer.
WHAT MUST YOU DO FOR HIS RESTORATION
1. Discover and make an inventory that seems to have been lost in your life. Come to yourself and return to Your Father. Luke 15:17-18
2. Go to The Lord, The Architect of Your Life – Matt. 11:28
3. Know that this is your time of restoration. Ps. 102:13
4. Be Open to possess your possession – Obadiah 17
