Qualified For A Notable Miracle.

Qualified For A Notable Miracle.

Ministering: Senior Pastor Shola Awobajo.

Text: Acts 3:1-11 .

1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God: 10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. 11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

Our above Text is the first notable miracle God did in the early days of The Church. It was notable because even the enemies of The Church attested this miracle couldn’t be denied. Certain miracles can be hidden but some are impossible to hide; such is what God wants to do in your life this month.

The Bible is filled with undeniable miracles such as the woman with the issue of blood in Luke 8:43-48. To be qualified for a notable miracle, you have to reach out like the woman with the issue of blood touching the hem of The Lord’s Garment. In Mark 5:22-23 we see another notable miracle of The Lord raising Jarius’ daughter from the dead. Whatever virtue that is dying in your life, The Lord will bring it back to life in Jesus Name.

In Mark 7:24-30 we seen an unqualified person (the Syrophoenician Woman) getting a notable miracle from The Lord. She worshipped The Lord and what she was not qualified for was given to her. A heart-felt Worship will qualify you for a notable miracle.

To be qualified for a notable miracle, you have to be focused. The lame man in our above text was focused and expected to receive something, thus, caught the attention of Peter and John. Looking unto Jesus will give you a notable miracle. There is power in being focused.

We can also learn from our above Text, that The Name of Jesus is more powerful than silver and gold. There are numerous issues in life money cannot solve, but there is no issue Jesus cannot solve. This is why we have to be focused on The Lord before we receive our notable miracle.

God wants to bless us so we could be a medium to bless others. Peter and John were carriers of God’s blessings, hence were able to dispense God’s blessing to the lame man. We were redeemed to be solution carriers; we are the light of the world, and the salt of the earth.
