Ministering: Pastor Peter Olawale (RCCG Intercontinental Overseer – Prayer)
Text: Exodus 3:1-4.
” 1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. 2 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. 3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. 4 And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.” KJV
“Exodus” means “coming out”, “relocating”, or “migrating”. It is a Book of repositioning of God’s people from the land of bondage. Our above text shows how a destiny could be caged in the dungeon until a Divine repositioning. Moses had been in exile for 40 years as a shepherd until he had a divine appointment with the Lord God. Anytime God calls anyone’s name twice, it means a massive repositioning is about to take place; examples are Abraham, Samuel, Saul (of Tarsus), Simeon, etc. Divine repositioning is an event in life that produces wonders in a person’s life. Every divine repositioning is given birth to by a divine visitation. It is a divine visitation that enforces a repositioning. There must be a meeting point between God and man before a repositioning takes place. Gen. 50:24 tells us how Joseph prophesied God’s Visitation that will lead to Israel’s repositioning.
God said in Jer. 32:5 – “then he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there he shall be until I visit him,” says the Lord; “though you fight with the Chaldeans, you shall not succeed” ’?”
Things that God’s Visitation did for Moses
- When God visits a Man, yokes are broken and bondages are destroyed.
- God’s visitation ends every confusion in a Person’s life. Moses’ confusion as a fugitive ended after his Burning Bush experience. Ps. 126:1
- Discouragements disappears anytime a divine repositioning takes place. Gideon’s discouragements vanished after God’s visit in Judges 6: 12-16
- Divine visitation will create a way at any bus stop (stuck point or wit-end) You may have found yourself. Ps. 107:26-31
- God breaks His silence through His visitation. For 40 years Moses heard nothing from God. Job 34:29
Our Lord is not just a “Way-Maker” but the “Way”. He can create a way where there is no way. He is never short of options no matter the complexity of any issue. He speaks and protocols are broken. Every chaotic or anti-scriptural situation hear His voice and bow.
In closing, a repositioning is coming your way that will make you get your bearing right, the blocked road will be opened, Your prayers will be answered and by His Grace there will be no more ridicule in your life. We have no “plan B” except God helps us. He is calling us to come back home (return to Him). Ps. 35:22-23 – This you have seen, O Lord; Do not keep silence. O Lord, do not be far from me. 23 Stir up yourself, and awake to my vindication, To my cause, my God and my Lord.
God bless you!
