The Cloud of Glory.

The Cloud of Glory.

Ministering: Senior Pastor Shola Awobajo.

Text: Isaiah 6:1-8.

1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain, he covered his face, and with twain, he covered his feet, and with twain, he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” KJV.

Glory is a Word used to describe God’s Eternal Splendor, Majesty, Greatness, and Power. The Cloud of Glory usually ushers God’s manifestation into any environment, thereby causing a positive change in the lives of His People. This was what Isaiah experienced in our above Text. The Word of God is to change us from Glory to Glory. 2 Cor. 3:18. We were created by The Word, and We were also recreated in Christ Jesus by The Word.

As We behold The King of Glory, His Spirit moves us to another degree of His Glory. The Glory of God is in phases, meaning there is always a next level. The Glory of God forbids stagnation, as it is ever progressive. Glory cannot be hidden, it is uncoverable.

God’s Original Plan for Man is to be the reflection of His Glory on Earth. Man has created an Emblem of God’s Glory. This is what The Lord was praying for in John 17:4-5 that the Father glorifies Him. Man’s Glory was corrupted in the Garden of Eden, but Christ came to restore that lost Glory; for Christ in You, The Hope of Glory. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law …. That The Blessing of Abraham might come unto us (the Gentiles). Gal. 3:13-14.

The Glory of God makes a Person to be honored and favored everywhere. Through a quality walk with The Lord, we are clothed with His Glory, just as Moses had to put a veil on his face because of the splendor of God’s Glory that came upon him in His Presence. God has a plan of Glory for each of His Children; as we spend quality time in His Presence that Glory overshadows our life. Regardless of what you have attained in life, the Glory of God still has more to showcase through you.

Joseph is another case study of how God’s Glory can make a star out of a slave. Wherever Joseph went, God’s Glory made him favored (even in a foreign land), he had solutions that commanded the attention of the King. Ps. 57:8 – Awake, my glory! May Your Glory never be silent.

What to Do to Provoke the Manifestation of Your Glory

You must awaken and realize the need to manifest the next dimension of His Glory. Isa. 60:1
You must be dissatisfied with your current state
You must be a Friend of God. Ensure Christ is always in Your Boat (Luke 5)
Resist all odds that might oppose a glorious ending for You this Year.
Work hard, be diligent, and cast great visions for yourself.
Eliminate every fear, for perfect love casts out fear
Be a Man or Woman of Prayer. Let Prayer be Your Oxygen.
Run away from Sin as Joseph did.

In closing, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the Glory of The Lord, are being transformed into the same image from Glory to Glory, just as by The Spirit of The Lord. 2 Cor. 3:18

God Bless You!
