Ministering: Pastor Shola Awobajo.
Text: Psalm 89:1-11.
“ 1 I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. 2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establishes in the very heavens. 3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, 4 Thy seed will I establish forever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. 5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. 6 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord? 7 God is great to be feared in the assembly of the saints and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. 8 O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee? 9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them. 10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm. 11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.”
God remains God in every situation, in every dispensation – He remains unchanged in every interception of life. From the very beginning, He has remained God and will remain God for Eternity.
Rev. 1:8 – “I am The Alpha and The Omega, The Beginning and The End,” says The Lord, “Who is and Who was and Who is to come, The Almighty.”
His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and His ways are higher than our ways.
If it had not been God that has been on our side ….. when men rose up against us…. Psalm 124. Lam. 3:22 says it is of The Lord’s mercies we are not consumed for His Mercies are new every morning.
We are here to appreciate and acknowledge The Mercies of Our God Who has kept us in this Year 2020 and also kept Isaac Generation for 20 Years. We are here to sing of The Mercies of The Lord forever.
Despite the intended evil imagined by the enemy, God did not allow their hands to be able to perform it.
Also Exod. 15:9-15.
As a Church we are going into a Season of New Beginning and Change-Over; we have every reason to thank God for His Mercies and sing like the Israelite sang that The Lord has triumphed gloriously.
God Bless You!
