September 2025 | The Season of Unusual Speed | Thanksgiving Sunday

Text: Amos 9:13-15 & Hab. 3:17-19.
“Amos 9:13-15 – 13 Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it. 14 I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them. 15 I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them,” says the Lord your God.
Hab. 3:17-19 –13 Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls— 18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19 The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and He will make me walk on my high hills.” NKJV
It’s a Season of unusual Speed for us in Isaac Generation. God has promised to restore the years the locusts, caterpillars, cankerworm, and palmerworm have eaten in our lives. Things fall in order when we come before this King of Kings. The Lord has sent us His prophetic word for this Season and wisdom demands we all believe and align to it.
It is the Hand of God upon a man or woman that gives them supernatural speed in life. God is still in the business of fast-tracking and accelerating the progress of His people. Speed is critical to restoration. From our above texts, we see that thanksgiving is what triggers unusual speed for restoration. Naturally no man can outrun a horse but when the Lord becomes your strength, He will make your feet like hind’s (Deer) feet. God can make you accomplish in 3 days what takes others 3 years to accomplish. The key to speed is to give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Thanksgiving will turn ashes to beauty, and make a wilderness become Eden.
God wants to prove Himself in our lives that He is not bound by human calendar. He can compress years of results and give them to us in a day. He can give the former rain and the latter rain in the same month. Be glad and rejoice because You are in the Season of unusual speed.
Why is God giving Us Unusual Speed
- So, He can prove He is not bound by time
- So, He can prove He is the Lord of time. Our time is in His hand. Joel 2
- He wants to prove He can fulfill promise. He is a covenant keeping God. Hab. 2:3
- He wants to display His glory and His faithfulness. 1 Samuel 2:1
How to Activate Your Season of Unusual Speed
- Give Him thanks regardless of your current situation. Hab. 3:17
- Always acknowledge God as your source and preserver.
- Plant praise as a seed of acceleration. Praising Him in advance of your miracle like Paul and Silas in Acts 16:25.
- Your thanksgiving will make room for many more testimonies. It will birth more blessings. Gratitude is an activator of speed. Luke 17:17
In Closing, may the Lord compress time for you and make things happen speedily in your favor. Amen. Also, I pray that there will be divine restoration for you before end of this year. Amen. Thanksgiving is repositioning yourself for divine restoration. Crying, lamenting and murmuring will do you no good, but “Be glad and rejoice, for the Lord will do great things”. Joel 2:21
