The Worship of His Glory.

Text: 2 Chronicles 5:11-14.

” ¹¹And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course: ¹²Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:) ¹³It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; ¹⁴So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.” KJV.

The above Text is an account of what happened when the Ark was brought back to the Temple. God having brought us into the Month of March, is deserving of our Praise. Praise always precedes the manifestation of God’s Glory. The Priests were in one accord before God’s Glory filled the Temple. The Cloud of God’s Glory is “feelable”, the People could feel and experience its majesty. In John 4, the Samaritan Woman melt The King of Glory and her life never remained the same. The Priests in our above Text laid it to heart to give thanks to God for everything, they realized God is the reason for their existence; all We have and are We owe to Him. What an honor that The Most High Who made Heaven and Earth has given us the privilege to relate with Him? Ps. 113:3. It’s never an easy endeavor to have a one-on-one communication with any President, yet God in His Sovereignty and Goodness has made Himself available to Us.

God deserves our Praise and Thanksgiving. There is never a time we lack something to thank God for. The life in us, we owe to Him. God is the reason for everything. We are nothing without Him. The wise believe God can do all things and thus acknowledge Him, while the foolish believe they are capable of doing everything, hence ignore Him.

Thanksgiving makes God breath over what looks insignificant in your hands to become a global product or service. God raises People that are thankful. He is far from complainers. Jer. 13:14-16

When You refuse to give ear to give thanks to God, you unconsciously invite darkness into your situation. Jer. 30:19 – “And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. None of us have accomplished all God has for us, through thanksgiving, We move from Glory to Glory.

Why Must You Give Thanks?

Thanksgiving Perfects Your Blessing; it secures all in Your Hands. Luke 17:16-19
God becomes Mindful of You regardless of who is looking down on You – Ps. 115:12-14
It pleases God when You give thanks. Ps. 69:30-31

In closing, Thanksgiving causes great and mighty things to happen in Your Life. Praise is a Weapon of Warfare against every enemy of our lives. Psalm 149.
