THE POWER OF A GRATEFUL HEART.

THE POWER OF A GRATEFUL HEART.

July, 2026 | Healing of all Brokenness and Fixing of Foundations

Ministering: Pastor Shola Awobajo.

Text: Psalm 147:1-5.

1 Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful. The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.NKJV

A grateful heart will never leave the presence of God the same. If God knows all the stars by name, it means He knows every detail of your life. Thanksgiving is our lifestyle because of the innumerable things God is always doing. God has been faithful, He made us to overcome all our challenges.

A grateful heart attracts God’s blessings. God desires our praise not just for what He has done but for He is as our Father. Psalm 22:3 tells us God delights and dwells in the praises of His people.

What will a Grateful Heart do?

  • A grateful heart celebrates God’s faithfulness continually. Lam. 3:22
  • God takes a grateful heart to its wealthy place. Psalm 66:12
  • God releases His power to a grateful heart and causes the Earth to yield its increase to It. Psalm 67:5-7
  • God showcases His marvelous light and glory to a grateful heart – 1 Peter 2:9
  • A grateful heart experiences victory before any battle. 2 Chron. 20
  • Chains fall off the hands and feet of a grateful heart. Acts 16:25

In closing, I enjoin you in this second half of the year to choose praise over complain and gratitude over murmuring. As you do this God will bring fresh opportunities your way.

Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. Joel 2:23-26

God Bless You, Richly!
