Ministering: Pastor Shola Awobajo.
Easter Sunday.
Text: Psalm 95:1-8.
“1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. 3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. 4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. 5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:” KJV
The above text is an invitation to eulogize the Lord who is the Great King above all gods! We are to come before His Presence with thanksgiving. praise causes there to be “balance” (proper alignment) in every area of life (marital, health, career, business, Ministry, etc.). April is the 4th month which represents balance (like 4 legs of a chair). The prophetic theme for us in April is “Overflowing Blessing” from Joel 2:21-27 – “…. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice for the Lord will do great things……”. It’s a new beginning of blessing and increase for you.
Ingredients of Overflowing Blessing
- A Lifestyle of unending Praise & Worship – Psalm 67:5-7, 2 Chron. 20:20-27
- Confession of the Word of God. His words are creative as you confess it over your life. Prov. 18:21
- Planting good seeds / sacrificial offering – 2 Kings 3:23-26
- Study the word of God properly. Joshua 1:8
- Stop sinning. Sin strips naked and blocks blessings – Romans 6:1-2
- Serve the Lord (especially in His House) – Matt. 6:33
- Effectual fervent Prayers – James 5
In closing, Exodus 15:1 – Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spoke, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for He hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
God bless you!
