June, 2026 | Becoming The Visible Expression of God’s Glory & Blessings
Ministering: Senior Pastor Shola Awobajo.
Text: Exodus 34:29-35 & Matt. 5:13-16.
“29 Now it was so, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony were in Moses’ hand when he came down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him. 30 So when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him. 31 Then Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned to him; and Moses talked with them. 32 Afterward all the children of Israel came near, and he gave them as commandments all that the Lord had spoken with him on Mount Sinai. 33 And when Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil on his face. 34 But whenever Moses went in before the Lord to speak with Him, he would take the veil off until he came out; and he would come out and speak to the children of Israel whatever he had been commanded. 35 And whenever the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone, then Moses would put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with Him.” NKJV
“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
We were redeemed to be the visible expression of God’s glory. His invisible presence is to accompany us everywhere. As nothing can hide the glory of the Sun, so nothing should be able to hinder God’s glory from shining in our lives. The responsibility to reflect God’s glory belongs to us, thus, we must consecrate ourselves to be vessels that reflect His glory.
How to Reflect God’s Glory
- Through transformation in His presence. Moses in God’s presence in Exod. 34:31-35
- As we behold His face, we are changed from glory to glory. 2 Cor. 3:18
- By submitting to His refining fire so His beauty can be seen in us. Malachi 3:2-3
- By ensuring your life is forever pointing people to God – Matt. 5:8
In closing, meditate on the lyrics of the song “Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in me”. In life, we become what we behold. The moon has no light of its own, the light it reflects is due to its proper alignment to the sun. Likewise, the closer we walk with the Lord, the brighter His light reflects through us.
We are the salt of the Earth may we not fail in this calling but fulfill our destiny of being the Light reflecting God’s glory in the World. A wild horse is of no use to its owner, we should be like a tamed horse that the Lord can ride on to show forth His glory on the Earth.
God Bless You, Richly!
